Who We Are

We are a traveling swim school where kids and adults of all ages and abilities will learn how to swim in the comfort and convenience of their favorite pool. 

Our strategy is simple: we build positive and authentic relationships with our swimmers and lovingly challenge them to reach their full potential in the water as quickly and safely as possible. We do this by personalizing each lesson based on the swimmer's age, ability, needs, and goals of their parent(s). Our passion is not just teaching competitive stroke technique, but also real-life skills, including fitness, diving, and safety both in the pool and open-water environments.

We understand everyone learns at a different pace, but after 8-12 consistent lessons, it is not uncommon for us to cheer on 3-4 year-olds as they swim 25 yards in the pool (multiple laps, multiple strokes, unassisted, and without stopping) and 5-6 year-olds who can swim freestyle in the ocean (with an instructor nearby). 

Since 2005, we have transformed anxious and fearful children into confident swimmers. We have motivated novice swimmers to compete on their summer swim team. We have inspired casual summer swimmers to tryout for their local club teams. In fact, some of our swimmers have even gone on to win NJSIAA State Championships, earn Division 1 scholarships, and compete in the US Olympic trials!

Regardless of how long their swim journey is, we take great pride in being able to play a small, yet critical role in each child's life. We love to stay in touch with and support our former swimmers—even years after they "graduate" from our swim school. Your family will always be part of the Clayton family!
